In May we continued our exploration of freestyle/jiyuka. This lesson emphasized the element of line.

Material used included: curly willow, broom, iris, ming fern, statice, aster, chrysanthemum disbud, mini gerbera

Instead we will be doing an exhibit and demonstration at the Kurimoto Japanese Garden Spring Festival on Sunday June 6.

Club members are asked to arrive at 9 a.m. to prepare their arrangements. The festival opens to the public at 11 a.m. The ikebana demonstration will be at 1:30 p.m.
