Welcome back. It was great to see so many of you for the first class of the season, our hatsuike, March 17.We started the season with a review of shoka nishuike using seasonal materials that provided a bit of a challenge after our long winter break. Pussy willow is beautiful and lifts the spirit at this time of year with its promise of Spring. It bends easily but does not always stay where we might want it. We hope you are enjoying your arrangements in anticipation of the next class when we will be welcoming a group of new students who will be working in the adjoining room. This will gives us all the benefit of seeing more arrangements at the end of the evening when the two groups can mingle. See you on March 31.
