How quickly the time has flown. Another season of ikebana classes have finished and we thank all our students for their enthusiastic participation and support. We also offer great appreciation and thanks to our treasurer, Jacqueline, and our host venues: the Edmonton Japanese Community Association and the Edmonton Jewish Seniors’ Drop In Centre. We look forward to continuing to be part of your programming in the upcoming year.
Regular classes will resume in March. Please check the calendar on the home page for dates and topics. We are also excited to be starting Rikka classes with our more experienced students. Dates and times will be emailed. Stay tuned.

Hi, I have checked the calendar and so far have only found 2 dates for the Jewish Center. I assume that the other dates have not been arranged yet. And also the first month for the Japanese center are all on Friday’s. Does that mean that the Wed. Class people are expected to go to the Japanese Ass. For the Fri. Classes?
Just trying to clarify this up so we can plan other events also.
Happy Holiday’s, to you both.

Thanks, Nelly. The adjustments have been made and proper dates posted. We might be adding the Kurimoto Gardens event if it is back this year.
