Ikebana: Japanese Flower Arranging Lessons

We are excited to be hosting a visiting Ikenobo professor again this year for a weekend of workshops.

Ms. Suzuki’s experience includes holding the ikebana exhibition at the South Carolina Art Museum, holding the ikebana exhibition in collaboration with local artists, and conducting workshops at the North Carolina Museum of Art. As the Ikenobo Special Visiting Professor, she has taught classes for Ikenobo Chapters and Study Groups in North America.

Her hobbies are gardening, carpentry, sewing, and listening to jazz music. Her future vision is to increase the number of people learning Ikenobo Ikebana and encouraging people to become Ikenobo instructors. She is also providing remote instruction using PowerPoint and Zoom as well as in person teaching to cover as much of the wide area of North America as possible.

All levels of students will be welcome.
